Oh my!  It's been a long time since I posted...or even visited my own blog.   Lots has happened. Jamie and Steve have been married for over five years and they are expecting their first baby in early June.   Jimmy is retiring at the end of May and so looking forward to it and baby sitting.  I plan on retiring next spring as well.  My sister and I bought a little cottage up north and are looking forward to spending time their just relaxing and scrapbooking and knitting, taking walks and enjoying each other's company.  I've been doing a lot of scrapbooking over the last few years and have now branched off into the mini album creation.   I made one for Jamie and Steve using the graphic 45 mother goose collection.   I love how it turned out.   I designed a chest to store it in as well. It took approximately 40 hours from beginning to end.  I used Kathy Orta king's hidden hinge system, the basic album decoration is from a tutorial I bought from Paper Hoard Disorder but I modified the construction to suit me (as I always do with any project, page layout, etc).  I will try to upload a few still pictures and a video I did (it was unfinished at that point...about two more hours of work before it was completed.     Happy Mother's Day all!
